A BIRTHDAY MONKEY

This little man turned four years old today. With your new found love of telling jokes, animated story-telling,  endless knowledge of dinosaurs and incredible compassion towards others, you amaze and delight us every day. You are our loveable, huggable Monkey!

TORONTO IS THE BEST

Toronto is the best and I'm not being biased. Take a look at the report issued by The Economist yesterday that ranks Toronto as the best place to live in the world. I think that's pretty cool.

Toronto, I miss you.

FLOWERS IN BLOOM

We see beautiful flowers from every window of our home -- this is one of my favourite things about living in Bermuda. The subtropical climate lends itself to year-round blooms in vivid colours with lush greenery that seem to grow wildly in every crevice and corner of our property. 

Little Bean and I spent time smelling the flowers this week ...  

 

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I'd like to think that it's good luck to see a rainbow on the first day of a new year. Yesterday, we saw this rainbow while out on a family bike ride around our neighbourhood -- it was a brilliant and vivid arc.
